This horrible idea that there is another place better than this earth has been created by people who have made a hell out of themselves. If you are ecstatic, then you can make a heaven out of yourself wherever you are!
Some Orthodox philosophers have exported all this happiness to heaven instead of teaching people to live this present life joyfully ! No one knows what is going to happen with you after your death ! This idea that happiness is in the next step is absurd!
What if the place you are living in right now is a heaven and you never realized it? Then what a horrible way to live this life it would be!
It's up to you and your own way of perception of looking towards life!
There are no good or bad people but only joyful and miserable people in this world !
